I'm feeling very lost these days!!!

Where do you begin when your at the end?

Today is the end of 14 years of early mornings 7 days a week.... I have to start all over again ... I am thinking i needed this change for a while now but was too scared to take that big step and quit ... Now i don't have too.... But the really messed up thing is I liked my job... I honestly did!!!!

Not sure about it.... but I'm not disappointed

well it's the 4th and I haven't done shit yet

big suprise I did register for knitting class... but come on I'm a photographer I can do this...plus I have an iphone for crying out loud...

So the challenge is a photo a day for 30 days ... there is even a list of topics, I  found it on instagram... sounds like fun lets see if I can remember to play....

I was up at midnight ... This is my evidence ... I was TRYING to sleep what a way to start off the new year with a little insomnia ... This year is gonna be a ME year... I haven't figured out what exactly that means but I think I'm gonna be a little selfish in 2012 and finally put me first ... I'm gonna take a knitting class get a tattoo started ( which requires some serious effort on my part) and I'm gonna make some creative time for myself at least once a week even if it only 1 hour... And I'm gonna read more I never make time to read until I'm to sleepy ;(

Oh my!!!! Look what I got today!!!!

2011 Mazda Miata...black on black (maybe not my first choice of colors but I have 2 auto detailing boys living with me so I am set... LOL..) my dream car......... we couldn't pass up the deal we got on this... and boy oh boy I am in love!!!!

I will miss my sweet little wagon...

but OMG I was actually scared to crash it with no gap insurance and well check out those miles

My first day alone since school started and I don't know what to do...

I can't believe I have the house to myself and it's quiet and I am so overwhelmed with what I could do that I can't do anything....I am so insane sometimes... I had such great ideas this morning on the way home from work of what I'd try to do today and look it's 1:3o and I got nothing!!!  he'll be home in 1.5 hours and then the quiet stops.... I miss days of doing nothing!!!

 

I'll blog about school school has been a challenge for bb ( that may be an understatement)( ....yep it is by far)... BUT, so far so GOOD or should I say GREAT... I'm so excited because he is so excited... I think we may have finally found the right place for him... our last 3 years in the charter school were not exactly the best fit for us or for BB ( we learned a lot about what doesn't work for him)  and I think we are going to do a lot of learning in the opposite direction this year and he really seems to like his teacher and that has never really happened yet in all his schooling, with the exception of second grade. 

He came home theis first day and said" it's weird the work is going to be harder but it's going to be easier too"

he's repeating the 4th grade this year, our call, since we changed schools we felt it wouldn't be to0 big of and issue as no one would have to know!!!

I'm so glad we did... confidence and feeling successful are so important for where were with him...

So he said the work was hard but the class room was quiet when he was doing the work so that made it easier for him!!!!!

Score one for a rad teacher who has control over her class... also something we have NEVER experienced in all his schooling!!!!

He even read the other day after school on his own, he said he was really into the book "Captain Underpants" in class and wanted to finish it, he read for like over an hour and when I bribed him to go for ice cream if he finished the book that nigh he did!!!!!   Then started the next one in the series the next day... FINALLY!!!! THANK YOU............ I honestly don't care if he doesn't love it I just don't want him to hate it and he HATED IT!!!! BADLY... so  here's to you BB and a great 4th grade year... keep it up and we love you!!!!

I decided to have lunch with him today once a month they have a parents day.. he was pleased a punch to see me and even got hugs and kisses when I left... guess that because he hasn't made any friends to be embarrassed in front of yet... or maybe he just loves me!!!

oh and that sweet move in the last picture was the other night on a walk...... I walk and take pictures and bb rides and does tricks on the "clown bike" (that's what I call it)  his prized 5$ "12 inch" as he calls it...

So my quiet time is up soon I should try to get a nap in ... LOL
